Joe Waltz has committed his life to serving the 76th District of Pennsylvania.
Joe grew up on a farm in Lycoming County. He went on to attend Mansfield University of Pennsylvania in Tioga County for a degree in education, the first in his family to go to college. After graduation, Joe began his teaching career at the former Lock Haven High School in Lock Haven.
He has since called Clinton County home.
Joe married the former Stephanie Klecker, a retired small business owner and Clinton County native.
When Lock Haven High School and Bald Eagle Nittany High School merged, Joe taught at Central Mountain High School. His decades-long career saw him teaching generations of the same families, as well as new ones, in the area.
He retired in 2007, but has remained active in community affairs.
Joe is a member of the Lock Haven Kiwanis, Clinton County Historical Society, and Clinton County Economic Partnership; a social member of Lock Haven Sons of Italy; and a former member of PA Interscholastic Athletic Association. Joe was chairman of the Clinton County Democratic Committee from 2014-2018. He also served on the City of Lock Haven Planning Commission.
Now, he hopes to bring his years of community service to Harrisburg on behalf of the people of Clinton and northern Centre Counties.
